Secdo was founded in 2014 to fix a fundamental problem: The traditional Incident Response methodology is broken; its retrospective by design, requires years of experience and does not scale, unfortunately this has put a strain on cybersecurity personnel and their organizations in dealing with the growing cyber challenges that enterprises face today.

With over 30 years of experience in offensive and defensive security, the founding team concluded that traditional incident response had to be reinvented to cope with the mounting intensity of cyberattacks. A new methodology that brings AI and Automation to the most difficult and time-consuming aspects of incident response would have to take its place, covering all aspects of security operations from the investigation of alerts performed by Tier 1 analysts, to incident remediation of threats performed by Tier 2/3 IR and threat hunting teams.

Secdo has developed the first and only solution that empowers security and IR teams to respond effectively to all alerts and threats rapidly and precisely: AUTOMATED ENDPOINT SECURITY AND INCIDENT RESPONSE.

Secdo is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in the New York Metro area

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales Engineering and works closely with the NY Regional Sales Manager. This is a key field role that works directly with customers and partners as a trusted advisor for all things Secdo within the territory.


  • Confidently presents SECDO solution briefings to a variety of audiences from highly technical IR teams to the C-suite.
  • Delivers product demos in a manner that informs, generates conversation, and ultimately leads to a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Completely owns the technical validation phase (POC) to include preparing, executing, escalating, and concluding all activities as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Pro-actively assists with customer on boarding and escalations as needed to ensure customer success and retention.
  • Develops strong rapport with channel engineers that leads to deep partnerships leading and indirect revenue.
  • Represents SECDO qualities and values at all tradeshows and other industry and customer-facing events in a manner that reflects strong qualities and values


  • 10+ years IT/InfoSec/Cyber experience.
  • 8+ years Enterprise Presales experience, or 8+ years Security and IR experience in-house or consulting.
  • Digital Forensics and/or Incident Response experience highly preferred.
  • Familiar with SOC/MSSP operations.
  • BS degree in a technical discipline, or technical specialist certifications such as ENCE, ACE, CEH, GIAC, etc.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment
  • 25-50% travel
  • Good communicator, able to speak with technical accuracy and translate the same for non-technical audiences
  • Active in within the security industry or a network of peers
